The Ottoman magnificent Era 

The great Ottoman Sultan, Suleiman Kanuni, was born On November 06, 1494 AD/CE in Trabzon to the first Ottoman Caliph Selim I and his wife, Hafsa Sultan. Sultan Suleiman Kanuni or Suleiman the Lawmaker was the longest-reigning Ottoman Sultan, who ruled from 1520 to 1566 CE. The great architect Mimar Sinan constructed more than 300 major structures and other more modest projects during his reign. This is the Ottoman Empire which was established by Osman I in 1299, the most younger son of Ertugrul Ghazi. Later the Empire became long-lived by an over a time period of 600 years, from about 1300 to 1923, the Ottoman Empire expanded into the largest political boundaries in Europe and western Asia and then collapsed and disappeared into the back pages of history. 

Sultan Selim I, succeeded by his son Suleiman, he enthroned himself in 1520. He boarded on a series of military campaigns that expanded and united his Empire. His reign is now regarded as the golden time of Ottoman influence on several communities and regions. Hurrem Sultan was the most beloved wife of Sultan Suleiman.

The first campaign of Suleiman I was against the Christian realms of eastern Europe. He conquered Belgrade in 1521, Rhodes in 1522-3, and defeated Hungarian forces at the decisive Battle of Mohács in 1526, proclaiming Ottoman superiority in the region for an extended period of 150 years.

Suleiman the magnificent successfully launched three significant campaigns in Persia, defeating Iraq and inhabiting Baghdad. Suleiman's naval forces became a leading power in the Mediterranean and established their influence after the battle of Preveza in 1538 under Ottoman naval commander Heyriddin Barbarossa (Kapudan-i-Derya).

In the West, Suleiman became known as "Suleiman the Kanuni" or "Lawgiver" to reform the Ottoman law system. Also known as Suleiman the Magnificent. In the Ottoman era, Suleiman's rule was also a rich period in art and architecture. During his reign, the chief architect Mimar Sinan oversaw the construction of the famous Süleymaniye and Selimiye mosques.
